Heather Campbell is a military spouse, mom of three, and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a long history combining food and fitness. She received a Bachelors of Science from the University of Nebraska with double majors in Dietetics and Nutrition Science and double minors in Spanish and Biochemistry. During college, Heather completed 2½ years of research in the Biology and Biochemistry Departments under two different grants, including sequencing and publishing a section of DNA. She also was a teaching assistant in the Biochemistry Department and cheerleader for the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers.
After college, Heather completed her dietetic internship at the University of Alabama Birmingham before receiving her Masters Degree in Clinical Nutrition with a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonary Nutrition. Since sitting for her boards to become a Registered Dietitian, Heather has spent 10 years working in all aspects of lifecycle nutrition, with an emphasis on childhood and family nutrition.
In her private practice, Glory Nutrition, Heather helps to coach parents and families on how to achieve realistic health and wellness goals that match each individual family’s preferences and needs. She also has been featured in Eat This, Not That, consulted on multiple projects, and is currently partnering with Military Special Operations Family Collaborative and The Harvard Dinner Project for a resource for military families due to hit the public Summer 2021.
